The UFO is a map discovery in Search For The Needle that is completely separate from the main hay pile. Unlike the needle — which lives inside 1,000,000 hay and requires the full collect-sell-upgrade loop to find efficiently — the UFO is an object hidden somewhere on the Farmhouse grounds that you can discover with a short exploration walk.

About 40.4% of players have earned the Find the UFO badge, making it roughly twice as rare as the needle find. Most players who never find it are focused entirely on the hay loop and never leave the pile area.

What we can verify

• The UFO exists as a distinct world object on the Farmhouse map.
• Finding it awards the Find the UFO badge (40.4% rarity).
• The badge is separate from Found the Needle! (63.2% rarity) — you do not get one when you get the other.
• The UFO does not affect the hay pile, the needle spawn, or the economy.

What we will not invent

• Exact coordinates or a precise walkthrough to the UFO location.
• What the UFO looks like in detail beyond “a small flying object.”
• Any reward beyond the badge itself.
• Whether the UFO has animations, sounds, or interaction prompts.

Where to start looking

The UFO is not in the hay pile. It is somewhere on the Farmhouse map outside the main harvesting area. Based on player reports from the community:

• Look near the edges and corners of the map, away from the hay pile.
• Check elevated surfaces — rooftops, platforms, or hay bales that are taller than the main pile.
• Some players report finding it behind structures or near the border areas.
• The UFO is small and contrasts with the golden hay tones — look for something that does not match the straw color.

The fastest way to find it is to take a five-minute break from farming after you have sold a stack, walk the entire perimeter of the map, and look up. The UFO is aerial, so tilt your camera upward occasionally.

After you find the UFO

The badge unlocks immediately when you discover the UFO. There is no claim step, no NPC hand-in, and no additional objective. The discovery is the complete interaction.

Finding the UFO does not:

• Spawn additional needles.
• Change hay spawn rates.
• Grant cash or Gems beyond the badge.
• Unlock a new area or game mode.

It is a collection marker for curious players who explore beyond the main loop.

The UFO and the needle are separate

The UFO discovery exists alongside the main needle hunt as a bonus objective for players who want to see everything the map offers. It does not replace the needle, shorten the hay pile, or affect any upgrade.

If you have found the needle but not the UFO, take five minutes after a sell cycle to walk the map edges. The needle took 1,000,000 hay and a full economy loop. The UFO takes five minutes and a camera tilt.
