Search For The Needle currently has three verified badges. You earn Welcome! just for loading in, Found the Needle! for finding the needle, and Find the UFO for a separate discovery on the map. Welcome! — 100% rarity

You get this the moment the game finishes loading. It is not a reward; it is a confirmation that Roblox registered your session. Treat it as a marker that the experience is live and ready, not as a milestone.

Found the Needle! — 63.2% rarity

This is the main objective. Earning it means you found the one needle inside 1,000,000 hay, handed it in at the nearby NPC, and received the completion signal. The badge confirms what the needle odds page says mathematically: the needle is findable.

To earn this badge:

1. Run the collect → sell → upgrade loop from how to play.
2. Buy grab speed and capacity until collection feels fast.
3. Run a dedicated search block on a single face of the pile.

3. The UFO is a small flying object that stands out against the hay tones.
4. When you find it, the badge unlocks immediately.

Badge run setup

Both Normal and Hard difficulty award the same badges. The difference is speed and cost:

• Normal — recommended for first clears. Learn the route, build some progression, then try Hard.
• Hard — same objectives, higher punishment for wasted actions. See the Hard Mode guide for when to switch.

Party size affects nothing on badges. Solo players earn every badge on the same terms as a full 20-player server.

After you earn badges

Badges confirm progress but they do not change the shop. When all three are earned, you still have the same hay-per-second you built. The badge count is a scoreboard; the upgrade path is the actual power gain.

If you have Welcome! but not Found the Needle!, focus on early-game upgrades before your next search block. If you have both but not the UFO, take five minutes to walk the map perimeter after a sell cycle.
